You live by the sword , you die by the sword. You don't wait for the bully to be ready when you fight him, you hit him first and you hit him hard.
Lindors hit everything in sight until people went after him. Look at how his career ended. He could of been on of the great ones.
How dare you put Kassian in the same sentence as Lucic. Lucic needs to keep his emotions in cheque. |

Kassian is exactly Lucic. The dudes a sociopath from everything I've heard. Did you forget about him breaking Gagners jaw, then chirping him about the jaw protector? Real classy stuff there Give it a few years, everyone will hate him
I agree with the notion that Looch SHOULD have been ready, but I mean if he told the guy he wasn't gonna fight him... Reverse the roles and watch everyone jump on Lucic for sucker punching Prout. You know you would.
And you're right, he needs to handle his emotions better. But id rather have a guy who lets his emotions get the best of him than a guy who shows no emotion at all. The dudes a passionate competitor, an overly prideful one at that |

There are many a times that I could have done the exact same thing and I held off because a guy is refusing to drop his gloves. I find it to be gutless and that’s my thoughts on it. -Lucic

Ty Anderson: Shorthanded effort falls short vs. Habs - tyanderson
Good write up as always Ty!
To be honest, I don't think that Lucic gets much of a leash for questioning the character of others. From running over a 168lb Miller, to multiple times "saluting" the opposition fans, he has to accept that his reputation will always afford him less leeway in these types of situations. Add in the fact that he had just double-fisted Prout in the back of the head a few seconds before, and it's hard to argue that Prout was well within his rights to take a pop at him.

To be fair, Boston would be a better team if healthy. The rivalry is better when both teams are at their best.
I say that and I can't even explain how much I hate this team. |

Thanks dude, always appreciate it.
Yeah, I agree with you. I think Lucic has been involved in too many ugly incidents to play the holier than thou card in regards to fights and the code and all that nonsense. That's basically the reaction that Prout had, too. He was basically asking Lucic what he expected. The roles have been reversed before, too. So again, Lucic isn't a saint. |
